Tax Specialist / Senior Staff Accountant

Location: Trenton, ON

This is an exciting and unique opportunity; a dual role combining your expertise in assurance work and your passion for finding the right tax solutions. More than fifty per cent of your time will be devoted to providing tax services and the opportunity to join forces with the Wilkinson Tax Group – widely regarded as the region’s foremost authority in Canadian tax law.  As a Senior Staff Accountant you will work collaboratively with our team of highly skilled accounting professionals to deliver high quality assurance services to portfolio clients.

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

• a CPA, CPA, CA, a CPA,CGA or a CPA, CMA designation
• completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course
• strong research skills and the ability to analyze, interpret and apply findings
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• the ability to arrive at practical, timely and cost effective solutions through the use of creative, innovative and strategic thinking skills
• excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize assignments
• good negotiating skills and the ability to positively influence outcomes
