Martin is a graduate of Athabasca University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is also a graduate of St Lawrence College’s Business Administration – Finance program. He obtained his Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation in 2009. Martin also holds the Certified Fraud Examiner designation and is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). In addition to his accounting designation, Martin also holds a Public Accounting License.
Martin joined the Kingston office of Wilkinson and Company LLP in 2017. Martin offers a diversified skill set having worked in the private sector as a controller, in the municipal sector as a deputy treasurer and in public accounting for many years. Martin has extensive experience working on and managing assurance engagements in the not-for-profit and municipal sectors. Martin also assists many small and medium-sized enterprises with financial reporting, tax planning, and compliance adherence. Martin is very client focused ensuring that clients are always provided with services in a timely, effective and professional manner.
