About
Jon started his career with Wilkinson in 2001 as a summer student. After graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Masters of Accounting, Jon joined the firm full-time in 2005. He obtained his full CA designation in 2007 and is now a senior Assurance Manager in the Belleville office.
The majority of Jon’s clients are not-for-profit companies and small to medium sized businesses that benefit from his ability to identify opportunities that optimize their tax situations, or in the case of not-for-profits, ensuring they meet all the necessary regulations to secure funding.
As a former student at Wilkinson, who now enjoys a successful career in accounting, Jon embodies the firm’s commitment to its mentoring program. One of his main areas of focus is the staff training program which helps students meet the requirements for the CA designation and promotes a higher level of education and ongoing training within the firm.
Jon takes pride in the strength of Wilkinson’s staff with their broad range of diversified skills that allow them to provide solutions for clients that other firms may not be able to.
