For the first time in almost 35 years, the standard on compilation engagements (also known as “Notice-to-Reader”) is about to change. CPA Canada has released a new standard called Canadian Standard on Related Services (CSRS) 4200 – Compilation Engagements which will be effective for financial statements with fiscal periods ending on or after December 14, 2021.
