As we continue to take steps to protect the health of our team, our clients and our communities, we want to let you know about some recent developments here at Wilkinson & Company LLP.
The Ontario’s Government has identified Accounting as an essentials service, and we have modified our business operations to serve you during these unprecedented times.
Last week, the majority of our Partners and staff began working remotely. This measure will be in place until further notice. We are committed to continue to provide our clients with the highest level of service and advice throughout this situation and have the technology in place to do so. All Wilkinson & Company LLP personnel continue to be available by phone or email.
We strongly encourage you to transmit documentation electronically wherever possible to your Wilkinson & Company contact. We would also like to emphasize the use of our online portal to transmit documents to us. If you need assistance, our staff is available to help.
In an attempt to limit any potential spread of COVID-19, as of Monday, March 23, 2020, public access to our offices has been restricted. All of our offices will be open between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm from Monday to Friday to allow our clients to deliver information as required. To be mindful of effective social distancing, information can be placed in the provided receptacles during these hours located just inside our office doors. Please note that any documents delivered to our offices will be quarantined for 72 hours.
As you know, the personal income tax filing deadline has been extended to June 1, 2020. However, we strongly encourage you to provide us with the necessary information to complete the returns as soon as possible.
