About

“I have always enjoyed the diversity of my job; learning new industries, working through new challenges, and the constantly changing regulations...but most of all I enjoy the people aspect of our work!. I find working with my clients as a part of their team and using my expertise to promote and safeguard their interests is extremely rewarding.”

Kristie grew up in the small town of Parry Sound, Ontario and is delighted with her move to the Quinte area! Growing up in northern Ontario instilled a love for the water and country living so Kristie is enjoying the area’s many waterways and wide open spaces.

Kristie attended the University of Waterloo, majoring in Biotechnology and Chartered Accountancy. She earned her Masters of Accountancy 2004 and was awarded her CA designation in 2006.

She started her accounting career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, initially as a co-op student in 2001, and then upon graduation, Kristie was recruited as an audit associate. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, Kristie gained over a decade of client experience, working in Toronto, Southern USA and Winnipeg and was promoted to Assurance Manager in 2008.

Over her career, Kristie has had the opportunity to work with large public companies, owner managed businesses and a variety of not for profit enterprises. She enjoys working with her clients to provide accounting and assurance services and helping them with special projects and business challenges as they arise such as; restructuring, financial downturns, emerging markets, mergers and acquisitions and internal system overhauls.

Happy to return to her roots in Ontario after three years in Winnipeg; Kristie has settled in Belleville and is thrilled to be part of the Wilkinson team. Kristie is looking forward to working with her new clients at Wilkinson and making new friends in the Belleville community.

Kristie is an avid runner, cyclist and swimmer. She competed at a National level throughout University and represented Canada in the 2004 World University Triathlon Championships in Spain.
