Brandon Ferguson*
Congratulations to Brandon Ferguson for achieving his CA designation. After completing two co-op terms at Wilkinson & Company and graduating from the University of Toronto, Brandon became a member of the Wilkinson & Company team in September 2007. When asked what he likes about working at Wilkinson & Company and why he chose to become a CA, Brandon says, “I decided to become a CA because I enjoy the challenges and opportunities in the accounting industry. At Wilkinson & Company, I am able to work on a variety of different tasks from audits, and reviews to personal taxes”. Brandon will continue to work in the Wilkinson & Company Belleville office. |

Sandra Grant
Congratulations to Sandra Grant for her recent success in earning her CGA designation. In addition to being a CGA, Sandra holds diplomas in Business Administration and Accounting and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University. Sandra says, “After being in the work force for several years, with various jobs, I decided that I wanted to learn more in the accounting field and advance in my career. That is when I began to pursue the CGA designation. Obtaining my CGA has provided me with a great sense of accomplishment and excitement for my future. Sandra has been working with Wilkinson & Company for 8 years. Sandra will continue to work for Wilkinson & Company in Belleville. |

Ben Bryden
Congratulations to Ben Bryden on the achievement of his goal to become a CA. After completing a 16-month co-op placement with the firm, and after graduating from Carleton University, Ben joined Wilkinson and Company as a fulltime professional staff member in 2007. He works on a broad range of projects, including large audits and personal tax engagements. When asked what his CA designation means to him, Ben says “The CA designation symbolizes the culmination of my education and work experiences – and finally being able to stop and take a breath.” Ben will continue to work in the Belleville office of Wilkinson & Company. |

Melissa Vader*
Congratulations to Melissa Vader, a recent graduate of the CA program, earning her official designation as CA. Melissa began working for Wilkinson & Company as a summer student in 2006 and became a fulltime employee in June 2007. Melissa currently applies her skills and knowledge in Assurance and Taxation and eventually hopes to specialize in Tax or Estate Planning. Says Melissa,” I decided to become a CA because I have always liked working with numbers and problem solving and I knew that the Chartered Accountant (designation) was one of the most well respected designations in the financial industry. Becoming a CA means that all my hard work has paid off and I have achieved my short-term goals.” Prior to joining Wilkinson & Company and becoming a CA, Melissa earned an Honours Bachelor of Accounting degree from Brock University. Melissa will continue to work with Wilkinson & Company in Belleville.
