The Wilkinson and Company team is pleased to announce Doug Parker as a Partner and Director of Taxation to its Tax Group, as well as the appointment of Colin Chambers as Manager, Wilkinson Tax Group.

Doug has joined Wilkinson & Company because of its vitality and dynamism as a leading regional CA firm in Southeastern Ontario. "I want to share in the excellence for which Wilkinson & Company is known, while adding over thirty years of experience in direct tax service to owner-managers of small-and-medium sized businesses. I'm excited to join a vibrant tax team and share with the firm's clients my knowledge and passion for helping businesses preserve and grow their wealth."

Colin Chambers has been part of the Wilkinson & Company team since he was a co-op student over ten years ago. “Tax is an area I really enjoy, and has been the prime focus of my professional development. I look forward to working together with Doug and learning from his vast experience in tax matters as we continue to enhance our service to the firm and its clients.”

Doug Parker is a CA and CFP who also holds an MBA from the University of Toronto. As a sought after income tax instructor, Doug has either co-authored and/or delivered numerous tax courses for the Ontario School of Accountancy and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. As Wilkinson & Company's newest partner, Doug joins an already impressive Tax Group offering a full suite of tax advisory services including business and individual tax planning, preparation of tax returns, trust, estate and succession planning, corporate reorganizations, and appeals to tax authorities.

Colin Chambers is a CA and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. Born and raised in the Belleville area, Colin began his work with Wilkinson & Company as a high-school co-op student in 1998, and has worked full-time with the firm since 2004.
