S.D. (STEPHEN) THOMPSON, CA, CFP, TEP  

Stephen completed the CICA in-depth tax course in 1991 and since then, has specialized in personal and corporate taxation. More recently, in 1998, Stephen obtained his CFP, the Certified Financial Planner designation and he has also completed the Canadian Securities course. He is a member of both the Wilkinson Tax Group and Wilkinson Financial.

Stephen is the best selling author of 'Beat the Taxman! Easy Ways to Save Tax in Your Small Business', a book that is on display at tax time right across Canada.

Stephen enjoys public speaking and his speaking services are in high demand. He has appeared on Canada AM and many radio talk shows across Canada, as well as having articles published in the Globe & Mail and Your Office magazine. Stephen is deeply involved in Rotary where he has served as President, and he has also been very involved with Junior Achievement. Stephen is also Past-President of the Quinte District Chartered Accountants Association.
