R.G. (Rob) Deacon, CA•CBV, CFE  

Rob is the Practice Leader of the firm's Forensic and Investigative Accounting practice. He is a Chartered Accountant designated specialist in business valuation and a Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Rob has also appeared in court as an expert witness in the area of business valuations and forensic accounting and has been engaged in a collaborative family law context to provide independent valuation advice to both spouses and their legal professionals.

The Forensic & Investigative Accounting Practice of Wilkinson & Company LLP specializes in assisting individuals, lawyers, and insurance claims adjusters with fast, cost efficient and effective investigation and reporting. The services offered include business valuations, forensic accounting, criminal and civil litigation support, accident benefits and business interruption claim assessments and net family property and support calculations for family law purposes.

Rob's role with the firm also includes acting as a specialty and immediate response partner, servicing all of the firm's clients. Rob is committed to providing timely advice and support to our clients for the "Special Projects" they may encounter as they grow their businesses. Whether he is providing advice on managing an existing business or assisting with the purchase or sale of a business, Rob is dedicated to ensuring our clients get the advice they need when they need it.

Rob also takes pride in his involvement in the Eldercare Services provided by the firm. Using a hands-on approach, Rob does what family would do if they had the time and expertise.

Born and raised in the Quinte area, Rob is dedicated to giving back to his community. He has been actively involved in minor hockey and has served as the Treasurer of a local Rotary Club.
