G.W. (JERRY) SILVERTHORN, CA, TEP  

The Partners of Wilkinson & Company LLP are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of their fellow partner, colleague and friend, Jerry Silverthorn, CA, TEP.

Jerry earned his CA in 1967 and joined Wilkinson & Company in 1972. He became a partner in 1973. As the first tax partner of the firm, he established the Wilkinson Tax Group in 1979. He was a well-recognized specialist in corporate, personal and farm taxation.

Jerry was a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation since 1973. He was Secretary – Treasurer for the Brighton Home Builders and a Board Member of the Prince Edward Cattleman’s Association. He is a past Director of the VON – Hastings, Northumberland, Prince Edward Branch with whom he was associated for 20 years, and a Past President of the Quinte Estate Planning Council.

Family, friends, colleagues and clients alike will miss Jerry. We salute his contributions to the firm and we honour his memory.
